Birdcage began in 2015 when Maddy Avery's free frameworks started building genuinely successful businesses.
It grew from the DMs. A decade later it's a global framework used by thousands of brands, on one principle: get the foundations right and growth follows.

We grew up in a trades family.
Maddy's parents ran a Sydney painting business for 40 years. The quote you meant to send, the call missed on the tools, the day off that stops everything: she watched all of it. Her mum, Conny, still keeps our books.
Our office is in the mining heartland.
Birdcage is based in Mackay, Queensland, one of Australia's busiest mining hubs. Not a city tower. We're in the region, among the operators, contractors and crews who keep it moving.
There is a salon inside our studio.
A working salon runs inside Birdcage Studios, our head office, and Maddy is close with the owners. The chair-rent maths, the no-show that stings, the Tuesday that won't fill: a daily conversation here, not a case study.
We are a professional firm too.
We don't just market for professionals. We build the software they run on, from CRMs to custom apps like Propa. We live billable expertise, careful follow-up and a reputation that has to hold up online.
Luxury travel is in the family.
Maddy once owned a yacht charter company, holds a German passport, and her grandfather led one of Switzerland's major resort chains. She gets the premium guest, the direct booking, and a brand that has to feel as good online as the view does in person.
We sell our own products.
Birdcage builds and sells its own products, so we live the eCommerce reality: the abandoned cart, the ad spend that has to pay for itself, the email list that has to sell while you sleep.
