Bull Pit Bullriding · Events
Less than half the cost per order of the last campaign.
Bull Pit runs bull riding events across Queensland. The last campaign was built to collect interest on a Facebook event page. This one was built to sell tickets. It is still running.

The brief
Sell tickets to Kalbar Super Bull through Facebook and Instagram, and be able to show which ad sold them.
What we did
The work
Meta ads
- One Meta campaign, set up to find people who buy tickets rather than people who tap interested.
- Every ticket sale sent back to Meta from the ticketing platform, so the ads learnt from real purchases.
- New rounds of ads added as the campaign ran. The weakest were paused and the budget went to the ones selling.
What happened
Cost per order
The campaign is still running. Meta attributed, to 22 September, four days before the event.
- $14.80per order, the previous campaignCasino event, May 2026
- $6.40per order, this campaignKalbar Super Bull, to 22 September
Why the old campaign cost more
The old campaign was set up to collect interested taps on a Facebook event page, with the ticket link printed in the image where nobody could click it.
This one was set up to find buyers, and every sale was sent back to Meta so it could find more people like them.
It is not a like for like test. Different event, different month and a shorter run. The difference in what the ads were asked to do is the reason for the gap.
