DAC Group · Mining labour hire
Crews on mine sites since 2004. A brand that finally looks it.
DAC has put crews on Australian mine sites since 2004. The name, the logo and the website had not kept up. The update had to keep what people already recognised and make the rest work harder.

The brief
Two audiences. Tradespeople looking for mining work, who come first, and the operators who hire the crews.
A move from DAC Mining to DAC Group without losing the recognition, or the search rankings, the old name had earned.
What we did
The work
The brand and the website
- The brand update. A new DAC Group lockup that keeps the red from the old logo, matched to its exact value.
- A type and colour system for the web: a heavy condensed display face to match the lockup, a serif for reading and a warm paper ground.
- A new fifteen page website, with a page for each trade they recruit.
- Enquiry and job application forms that land in the office inbox, with applications passed straight into DAC's own operations app.
- The move to dacgroup.com.au, with every old address redirected so nothing that ranked was lost.
- Google Analytics and the Meta pixel on every page, ready for recruitment campaigns.
Before and after
The brand update
The same red and the same three letters people already knew, in a cleaner lockup. The name moved from DAC Mining to DAC Group.
